To ensure our dog park runs smoothly and safely, we have a few rules and conditions of use.
Please familiarise yourself before your first visit.
Full terms and conditions are available:
Entering the Park
Please park in the designated spaces shortly after the field or in the hotel car park, please do not block the road or park in front of the field.
Keep dogs on lead until inside the field and inside your car until the previous user has exited.
The field is very muddy in winter and wellies are advised.
Please clean up after your dog. No one wants to step in dog doo doo so please watch out for your dog pooping.
We have a scooper available to use.
Please put any poop in the designated bin. This bin is for dog poo only.
Your dog remains your responsibility at all times.
Field users do so at their own risk. No responsibility can be taken for any incidents within the field and we advise all owners have adequate insurance in place.
We have made every effort to secure the field and make it safe.
Please be careful of the natural landscape and wear appropriate footwear. Some of the ground is uneven and there is lots of foliage to be mindful of.
Healthy dogs only - please don't pass on any bugs.
I know most of the rules aren't fun we hope to keep all the dogs safe and the area nice.
It is important that both you and your pooch have fun when using the park.
Please do take plenty of pictures and share them with us on social media - we LOVE to see happy dogs doing what nature intended, after all that's why we created the park!
Please note there is Ivy onsite at Rainhill Hall. Ivy can be poisonous to some dogs if ingested.
Most dogs won't eat ivy as it tastes really bad but please do not let your dogs eat the ivy. Be extra careful with puppies who like to eat things they shouldn't. It can cause vomiting and upset tummies.
Please see picture of what to look out for. Once again most dogs will not even bother with it but this is to simply highlight any potential dangers. You will also recognise it from most local parks.
